1. What is Micro M2M? TOP
Micro M2M is a text messaging service aimed at providing a cheaper alternative to SMS along with a lot of additional features. You can back up your important, valuable contacts and messages with Micro M2M.
2. How does it work? TOP
You need a Mobile Phone, which has an Internet connection (GPRS). The Micro M2M client is installed on each user’s mobile phone. The user logs onto Micro M2M using an Internet connection (GPRS). Messages are sent using the GPRS connection and are instantly delivered to the recipient.
3. Will Micro M2M work on my Mobile Phone? TOP
Currently, not all mobile phones are compatible with Micro M2M. Please check the compatibility list to get a list of phones with which Micro M2M is currently compatible.
4. How do I install Micro M2M on my mobile phone? TOP
Please refer to our ‘download and installation manual’ for a step-by-step procedure.
5. When I try to register, I see four types of registration. Which one should I choose? What does MLL mean? TOP
MLL stands for ‘Micro Lifeline’, an excellent communications portal brought to you by Micro Technologies (I) Ltd. Click here for more information on MLL. Micro M2M registration can be done in 2 basic ways. Either by buying a Micro M2M Pre-paid card or by purchasing a Micro M2M License pack online. If you already possess a Valid Micro M2M Prepaid-Card, you should select Prepaid Registration. However, if you are a MLL User, we highly recommend that you choose the MLL-Prepaid registration procedure. If you do not have a Micro M2M Prepaid card, you can buy a Micro M2M License pack by Choosing Online-Registration. However again, if you are a MLL User, please choose MLL-Online registration.
6. How can I change my registration Details? TOP
To change your registration information, logon to the website. To edit your registration information, select Options > Edit profile
7. Do MLL users get anything extra with Micro M2M? TOP
Users, who are registered with MLL, need not fill up the complete registration form of Micro M2M. A registration form asking minimal details, which are specific to Micro M2M, is presented to such users. Additionally, when the registration is complete, all your MLL contacts are copied to you Micro M2M account.
8. On the website, When I log out, I get a message asking if I want to BLOCK my account? What does that mean? TOP
You can Optionally Block your account. If your account is Blocked, no one would be able to use our account on the website. This is just a security measure taken by us, and is very important especially if you are the installer (i.e. if you purchased the Micro M2M License). To unblock your account, you need to send a SMS M2M xxxxx OPEN to 91-9870299520. You can similarly Block your account using your mobile phone. Send M2M xxxxx BLOCK to 91-9870299520.For 5 digit (xxxxx) keyword, check Options > Edit profile
IMPORTANT:
The SMS should be sent using your mobile phone only. Sending an SMS using any number, other than the one you have provided in your registration information, will fail to unblock your account.
9. What is Inbox-My M2M and Inbox-My SMS? What’s the difference? TOP
There are 2 categories of messages in your inbox. M2M Messages and SMS Messages. Inbox-My M2M messages are the ones you receive via Micro M2M. Inbox-My SMS messages are the regular SMS messages that you receive on your mobile phone.
10. What is Sent-My M2M, Sent-My SMS, and Sent-My WEB? What’s the difference? TOP
There are 3 categories of messages in your Sent Items. M2M Messages, SMS Messages and WEB Messages. Sent-My M2M messages are the ones you send via Micro M2M. Sent-My SMS messages are the regular SMS messages that you send through your mobile phone. Sent-My WEB are M2M messages that you send through our website.
11. Is there a character-limit on the message I send? TOP
With Micro M2M, you can send huge messages, ranging up to 800 characters in length.
12. What are message templates? How can I add more templates on my mobile phone? TOP
It is a good idea to store messages, which you might send frequently. This saves you time that you might, otherwise, spend on typing the whole message. The Micro M2M Client comes with a set of pre-loaded message templates, which are some of the most frequently used. You can also create your own message templates. To create a message template, you need to navigate to the message template screen, do this by selecting, Options > Message Templates. Now, on the message template screen you can add new templates by selecting Options > Add. You can also update/delete a message template with a similar procedure.
13. What are M2Mcontacts? How are they different from the contacts I have on my address book? TOP
You can have numerous contacts in your address book. However, the unique set of people, who use the Micro M2M Service with you, are known as M2Mcontacts. All other people are just plain address book contacts.
14. How do I add/remove M2Mcontacts? TOP
If you have purchased the Micro M2M License, you have the privilege to add/remove M2Mcontacts. It means that you get to decide who stays in your circle. To add or remove a M2Mcontact, you need to logon to our website. Once you are in, Click on Address book. The page shows you a list of all contacts that you have, including your M2MContacts.The contacts, which are ‘checked’, are your M2MContacts. Simply check the ones you want to add, and uncheck the ones you want to remove. Once you are done, click Save changes. However, if you want to add a person, as an M2Mcontact, who does not exist in your address book, you need to click Add M2M Contact and provide necessary details.
15. How do I add/edit/delete the Contacts in my address book? TOP
You need to logon to the website and click on Address book. To add a new contact in your address book, click on Add New. To Edit contact details, simply click on the contact. To delete a contact, ‘check’ the ones you want to delete and click Delete Selected.
IMPORTANT: Please make sure you ‘uncheck’ your M2Mcontacts, unless you wish to delete them as well, as they are selected by-default. Deleting an individual, who is a M2Mcontact, from address book will lead to termination of the deleted user’s account. The deleted user will be denied access to all Micro M2M services.
16. How do i send messages to my online contacts from website? TOP
You can view only your MicroM2M contacts if you wish to. For this you have go to Addressbook > View Contacts Hre only he MicroM2M contacts are listed down with their complete details.Details like, Current Location, Status (Online / Offline) , email Id and Mobile Number. If any of the contacts are online, you can send them messages through web.
17. I am unable to edit details of some contacts. Why does it happen? TOP
For data-security reasons, we do not allow modification of details of M2MContacts. However, the Contact can update his/her own profile. All users are allowed to edit the contacts, which belong only to their address book.
18. Is there a limit on the number of contacts I can have in my address book? TOP
There is no limit on the number of contacts you can have in your address book. However there is a limit on the number of M2Mcontacts each circle can have.

20. When I add a new M2Mcontact, how is he/she made aware about how to use Micro M2M? TOP
When you add a new M2Mcontact, your contact is emailed with a unique license-key along with registration, ‘download and installation’ instructions, similar to what you had received when you registered with MicroM2M.
21. How do the MicroM2M keep track of your own location? TOP
MicroM2M helps you to keep a track of your own location. Log on to the MicroM2M website, Options > My Location Here you get the details of your whereabouts (location, date, time). You can also select the start & end date, to view the location details in a particular duration of dates.
22. Will MicroM2M can keep track of all contacts in my MicroM2M circle? TOP
Yes, MicroM2M users can also keep a track of the location of all other contacts in your MicroM2M circle. On website, Options > Location Details Here you can get the details (location, date, time) of all contacts or a particular contact. You have to select the contact whose details you want to view or select 'All', if you want to view details of all contacts in your MicroM2M circle.
23. What is Login History in Options? TOP
MicroM2M website also maintains a history of the user's login details.It maintains the details (date, time, computer IP) of when user logged in & logged out of his web account.
24. What is Remote outbox? TOP
The MicroM2M registered user can set instataneous messages which could be defined from user's website to contacts available in MicroM2M Address book or to any other unregistered recipients and those messages will be sent from that user's mobile.
25. What is Find Location? TOP
The MicroM2M allows to query the current location of the contacts.To get the current location,you need to send SMS FIND to the person's mobile no.
26. What is Recycle Bin? TOP
Recycle bin stores all the deleted entries from the Address book. The user may wish to restore the entries; in this case, he can click the Recycle Bin & restore all the deleted entries.
27. What is Alert settings? TOP
The MicroM2M registered client can set alert tone which intimates the user of any new messages.
